Tab Inbox Privacy Policy

Tab Inbox is a Chrome extension that helps you save tabs into an actionable local queue. Your privacy matters — this policy explains what data the extension handles and how.

Summary

All data stays on your device. Tab Inbox does not use servers, accounts, analytics, cloud sync, or AI. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties.

Data stored locally

When you save a tab, Tab Inbox stores the following in chrome.storage.local on your computer:

• Page title and URL
• Favicon URL (if available from the browser)
• Optional note and project name you enter
• Action type, queue status, and snooze date
• Your preferences (last-used action type, recent projects)

Data we do not collect

• No personal account or login
• No browsing history beyond tabs you explicitly save
• No analytics or tracking
• No data transmitted to the developer or any third party

Permissions

• storage — save your queue and settings locally
• tabs — read the active tab when you save; reopen saved URLs
• alarms — wake snoozed tabs into your Today queue on schedule

Tab Inbox does not request host permissions or network access.

Your control

You can export, import, or permanently delete all data from Settings in the extension dashboard at any time. Uninstalling the extension removes locally stored data from Chrome.

Children

Tab Inbox is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
